About

The maker wing of the Children's Technological University.

CTUx is where curiosity becomes creation. We take the screen time children already love and turn it into skills that last a lifetime.

Mission

From screen-time to build-time.

CTUx turns children into creators. Instead of passively consuming technology, our students build the apps, websites, robots, and games that they and their friends will use. Every course ends with something real โ€” a working product the student built themselves.

We believe every child has the potential to be a maker. Our job is to give them the tools, the confidence, and the pathway to get there.

Vision

A multi-year journey to invention.

The CTUx pathway โ€” Tinkerers โ†’ Makers โ†’ Inventors โ€” is designed as a multi-year journey. A student who starts by exploring computer basics can, over time, progress to building a cloud-connected Flutter app, a 3D-printed robotics project, or a professional Godot game.

Each level builds on the last. Each course is a stepping stone, not a standalone class.

Our Approach

How we teach.

Hands-on projects

Every concept is immediately applied to a real project. Students don't just hear about circuits โ€” they build them.

Progressive levels

Tinkerers, Makers, Inventors. Each level is a foundation for the next โ€” skills compound over time.

Real industry tools

Flutter, Firebase, Godot, Arduino, EasyEDA โ€” the same tools professionals use. No toy software.

Institutional Affiliation

Backed by a real university.

Children's Technological University (CTU) at BATU

CTUx is a program of the Children's Technological University (CTU), which operates under Borg Al Arab Technological University (BATU) in New Borg El Arab City, Egypt โ€” under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Morsi El-Gohary.

This institutional affiliation means CTUx is not just a coding club โ€” it's a structured educational program with university oversight, qualified instructors, and an academic framework designed for long-term skill development.

Meet your build buddy.

The CTUx mascot is a pair: a curious, energetic child and a friendly cream-coloured robot. Together they explore, build, and invent. The robot carries different tools depending on the track โ€” a wrench for Engineers, a game controller for Game Development, a paintbrush for App Design. They're never far apart, and they're always building something.
